Ketchikan Indian Community Housing Authority (KICHA) Elder Housing

KICHA Elder Housing is a two-story residential complex in Ketchikan designed specifically for seniors. The design was conceived with efficiency and affordability in mind, but also with an eye to quality and comfort. A central courtyard creates a community feel, and each of the twelve units comes with a view. The building is detailed with a high efficiency envelope, radiant floor heating and efficient ventilation with HRV units. The layout is gracious and spacious, with elevator and full ADA access to all units. This project achieved the first LEED silver accreditation in Ketchikan.
