Duck Creek Tiny Park & Wetland Restoration

Duck Creek Tiny Park is a small but mighty project being coordinated along side CBJ Parks and Recreation Department, the Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition, Trail Mix and MRV Architects. It is a renovation and restoration project where a new wetland pond is being created along side the creek filled with local water loving plants as well as remaking the tiny site into a park for nearby residents.

A service project was conducted on June 20th, 2021 where wetland plants were installed with project team members and community volunteers. The pond is now complete with the park side construction planned for the fall.
