The home of the Juneau Empire newspaper is located on choice waterfront property. The 54,000 square-foot building includes executive and staff offices for newspaper production, public areas, printing plant, and lease office space. Public areas and principal office spaces are laid out to capitalize on light and waterfront views. A high priority was placed in the integration of Native Alaskan artwork, including pre-cast panel motifs, sculpture, and carvings.
