Craig High School
This $12 million dollar, 38,000 square-foot facility in Craig is designed to emphasize local building materials and to capitalize on the beautiful site. The exterior of the school features stone, shingle siding, and exposed heavy timbers, giving a comfortable scale to the building. Primary spaces include a two-story entrance/commons area and a 230-seat auditorium. The school's library/media center features large windows and a cathedral ceiling. Other spaces include gymnasium and locker rooms, vocational technology instruction area, science laboratory and classroom, multi-media classroom, art room, several general classrooms, and administrative offices. Former MRV Principal Richard Ritter was project manager for this project.
